Rachel was born in Upstate New York and has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She trained at Tawn Marie’s Dance Centre where she had the opportunity to attend many competitions, conventions, and work with well known choreographers. After she graduated high school she chose to continue her dance education at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Here she obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance under the direction of deans Susan Jaffe and Endalyn Taylor. While training at UNCSA her performance highlights include works by Robert Battle, Igal Perry, Shen Wei, José Limón, Merce Cunningham, Juel Lane and many others. She is now excited to be performing with the Carolina Opry Theater!
