Laura Tighe is from Wheeling, West Virginia where she danced at Oglebay Institute School of Dance for ten years. Laura then attended and graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Virginia University with her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and minors in General Business and Entrepreneurship. She began her professional career shortly after, performing as a dancer in Grand Carnivale at Kings Dominion Theme Park. In between professional gigs, Laura spent time in New York City training at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. She then completed a summer and fall contract at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom dancing in Hot Rhythm Nights, Peanuts Block Party, and The Shrieks. Laura is a substitute teacher for all dance classes at her home studio and is currently working towards her 200hr yoga certification. She is so excited to be joining The Carolina Opry Theater for this winter season!
