A native of Myrtle Beach, SC, Josh has always always been interested in playing many different instruments and was known to open speaker cabinets and other sound equipment, just to to take them apart to see how they worked.

He started his sound engineering career with Horry County Schools before furthering his career with  local companies MC Sound Light & Video and ISD Productions along with many other local, regional and national bands and churches across the United States. Josh has 20 years of experience and now assists Michael Cook at The Carolina Opry Theater as Assistant Engineer, mixing the shows while running monitors for the special concerts, and working on other productions around the county.
