Chris was born in Rochester, NY. He graduated with a B.S. in Music Education from the College of St. Rose in Albany, NY. After teaching and performing for 15 years in New York, Chris relocated with his family to South Carolina. As a performer and composer Chris’ music has been featured in the hit TV show Shameless, nationally syndicated commercials, movies and networks such as MTV, VH1, and the Golf Channel. He has performed at the Heritage Jazz festival in New Orleans, as well as stints on the Vans Warped Tour and Rockstar Energy Tour. Some of the artists Chris has been lucky to share the stage with are Allen Vizzuti, “Blue” Lou Marini, and Bob Mintzer. Chris maintains a private studio for teaching, and you can see him performing regularly on the Grand Strand and Marshwalk with the Craig Sorrells Project.
