For more than five decades, 8,000+ live shows, and over 15 million albums sold, George Thorogood & The Destroyers have earned their reputation as “The All-American rock & roll party band” (Goldmine Magazine). Now in their 53rd year, the 2026 continuation of The Baddest Show On Earth Tour delivers the same stage-shaking, guitar-snarling energy fans know and love. “When we hit the stage,” George says, “I can guarantee we’ll make you feel like a teenager again.”
Since their explosive debut in 1976, Thorogood has been the embodiment of snakeskin-and-shades guitar-slinger cool. With iconic hits like Bad To The Bone, One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer, I Drink Alone, and Who Do You Love?, the band became a cornerstone of Classic Rock, with a catalog that still dominates playlists worldwide. From landmark performances at Live Aid and Saturday Night Live to recent tours with John Fogerty, ZZ Top, and Sammy Hagar, they remain one of rock’s most formidable live acts. “I defy bands half our age to put on a show like we do night after night,” Thorogood says.
Recent honors—including the B.B. King Award, recognition from the Bo Diddley Centennial Committee, and an invitation to perform at the Grand Ole Opry—prove there’s no slowing down. “We not only work hard to bring our best,” George says, “but to keep getting better. That’s rock & roll.”
