THE ORCHESTRA Starring ELO and ELO Part II Former Members carries forward the unmistakable music and legacy of Electric Light Orchestra, bringing decades of rock history to audiences around the world.
With roots tracing back to ELO’s classic era and the formation of ELO Part II, THE ORCHESTRA has evolved into a rock supergroup featuring former members of ELO and ELO Part II alongside accomplished musicians from other iconic acts. Collectively, its members have contributed to a musical legacy that includes more than 50 million records sold, multiple platinum albums, Grammy recognition, and performances in more than 50 countries.
The band’s history is deeply connected to the signature ELO sound, a groundbreaking fusion of rock, pop, and classical arrangements heard on landmark albums including Eldorado, Face the Music, A New World Record, Out of the Blue, Discovery, and Xanadu. Over the decades, members including Mik Kaminski, Louis Clark, Kelly Groucutt, and others helped bring that sound to life both in the studio and on stages around the world.
Following the original ELO lineup’s breakup, ELO Part II was formed in 1988 and featured several former ELO members. In 2000, the group began touring as THE ORCHESTRA, continuing to perform the music that has connected generations of fans while establishing an identity of its own. The band later released No Rewind, featuring original material from its members, and its story was captured in the 2024 documentary No Rewind: The Orchestra Starring ELO Former Members.
Today, THE ORCHESTRA continues that musical legacy with a lineup of veteran performers and multi-instrumentalists, delivering the soaring harmonies, orchestral arrangements, and classic songs that made ELO’s music instantly recognizable.
After decades of recording and touring, THE ORCHESTRA continues to bring ELO’s greatest hits to audiences across the globe, celebrating an extraordinary catalog of music and the musicians who helped create it.
THE ORCHESTRA will be live at The Carolina Opry Theater on Saturday, April 17, 2027 at 7:00pm. Tickets are on sale now – click ‘Get Tickets’ to purchase!
