KC & The Sunshine Band

KC and the Sunshine Band are as widely popular today as when they first danced onto the music scene more than 50 years ago. Led by Harry Wayne Casey—KC for short—the band formed in 1973 with one purpose: to create instant happiness through music. Their unmistakable fusion of R&B, funk and Caribbean-inspired rhythms helped define the sound of the ’70s and continues to fill dance floors today.

With more than 100 million records sold, KC and the Sunshine Band delivered an extraordinary string of hits, including “Get Down Tonight,” “That’s the Way (I Like It),” “(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty,” “I’m Your Boogie Man,” “Keep It Comin’ Love,” “Boogie Shoes” and “Please Don’t Go.” Their self-titled 1975 album went triple platinum, followed by another triple-platinum success with Part 3 in 1976. “Boogie Shoes” later became part of the legendary Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.

More than five decades later, KC and the Sunshine Band continue to bring the same infectious energy, unmistakable grooves and feel-good music to audiences everywhere. With a catalog packed with iconic hits, it’s a show guaranteed to have audiences singing along—and dancing in their seats.
