Gilmore’s Americana Network to put MB’s opry scene on cable

You could call it a marriage between the burgeoning country music capitals of Myrtle Beach and Branson, MO.
Beginning next March, the two cities will share in a $16 million cable television venture called Americana Television Network. Initially, the network’s shows will be carried via Nostalgia Network. Eventually, it will get its own satellite transponder and become a 24-hour network featuring family programming.
