What to Expect When Attending a Show at The Carolina Opry Theater

** PLEASE NOTE: State and Local guidelines for safe interaction are subject to change on a frequent basis in relation to the COVID-19 risk status in our area, be advised that guidelines listed below are subject to change and may vary for performance dates beyond this week. All ticket purchases are non-refundable. **

Social Distancing

    • Non-Vaccinated Guests are currently requested to wear masks to enter The Carolina Opry Theater and at all times while moving about the theater’s general areas.
    • We ask that guests follow social/physical distancing guidelines, maintaining a safe space from others while moving about the theater’s general areas. This applies throughout the theater including in Box Office queue lines, food and beverage queue lines and while waiting for restrooms. Please abide by social distancing floor markings while occupying these areas.  

Highest Standards of Cleanliness, Health & Safety

    • The Carolina Opry Theater is sanitized thoroughly multiple times daily, with all high-touch areas being disinfected multiple times per show.
    • All Staff Members will receive ongoing training on new health and safety guidelines.
    • Sanitizing stations will be available throughout the Theater Lobby for guest convenience.
    • Our Cast will not be signing autographs after the show to protect the health of our valued guests.


Are masks required inside the attraction?

    • Non-vaccinated guests are requested to wear masks as they enter the theater and move around public areas.

Do children need to wear a mask?

    • Children under 6 are not required to wear a mask.

What if I forget my mask?

    • Complimentary masks are available at the Box Office.

We are doing our part; please do your part:

    • If you or any member of your party or family is not feeling well, please do not visit. Contact The Carolina Opry Theater Box Office at 843-913-4000, no less than 48 hours prior to the performance date and we would be happy to work with your party to reschedule your performance date.
    • Currently, government health organizations are recommending people with underlying medical conditions (particularly if not well controlled) should either remain home or keep their distance from others.
    • Wash your hands frequently and practice good hygiene while visiting The Carolina Opry Theater. Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds throughout your visit. Use hand sanitizer as an alternative. Wash them after coughing or sneezing, before eating, after toilet use, and when hands are visibly dirty.
    • When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue. Throw tissue into a trash receptacle after use and wash hands.
    • We have enhanced our already-stringent protocols, considering the COVID-19 pandemic. We apologize if you experience any delays or inconvenience as a result of these procedures.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
