“Very entertaining.” – Howard Stern
Hip-hop clog dancing ensemble “All That” is moving on to the Live New York round on NBC’s America’s Got Talent after being named “Judges Favorite” this week on the hit show. “All That” first appeared on the show in the first season, making it all the way to the finals and finishing as first finalists. The group reappeared this season and were immediate judge favorites, moving unanimously to Vegas week and now on to the top 48 in New York.
The talented dance group has been wowing audiences at The Calvin Gilmore Theater for over seven years and performs nightly in The Carolina Opry and Good Vibrations shows. Earlier this month they brought the nation to its feet with their audition performance before judges Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne, and Howard Stern. Following their performance the live audience gave a standing ovation prompting Mandel to comment, “When you can bring them to their feet with just your feet, I think you’ve done something.” Osbourne raved, “I loved it, it was great!” Stern was even impressed stating, “You are real showmen, your look is unique, I think you are onto something, it was very entertaining.”
Entertainer Calvin Gilmore, who owns, produces and directs The Carolina Opry (in which he appears several times each week) said “These guys really are stars and they have the talent to win the competition – I hope all of Myrtle Beach will get behind them. They are a great group of guys, and I have really enjoyed working with them. Our audiences just love them.”
Having recently celebrated its 26th Anniversary and over 7,400 performances, The Carolina Opry is the first and longest running year-round live show in the Southeast. It was voted South Carolina’s Most Outstanding Attraction after its second season, CNBC named it the “Top Attraction in Myrtle Beach,” New York Times calls it “A Hit” and the New York Post calls it “A Hot Ticket.” NBC Nightly news says “The man who is turning Myrtle Beach into a music capital is Calvin Gilmore.” For more information call 843-913-4000 or 1-800-843-6779, or go to TheCarolinaOpry.com.
